Online Coaching

Online coaching is great for anyone looking for training advice and inspiration from a real, professional athlete. Coaches communicate with their athletes via phone calls, the internet, and e-mail. This ensures that every member can communicate with their coach quickly and conveniently around their schedule.

Online coaching is great for all types of ages, body types, and skill levels. A coach will provide weekly and monthly workout schedules and strength programs while working with goal setting, mental preparation, and more.

 

 

Personal Coaching

Personal coaching has all the benefits of online coaching with the addition of face to face communication. Coaches are able to personally meet with each athlete, allowing for a more interactive and effective coaching environment. Specifically, coaches are better able to monitor and offer advice in the areas of form, stretching, drills, strength, flexibility, and mental preparation.

Fast RunnerZ offers personal, hands-on coaching currently in seven cities in the US (listed below). Coaches are also available to travel to other locations depending on the schedule and availability of the coach.

Groups

Fast RunnerZ currently has two running groups, both in Eugene, OR.

The Eugene Running Company Thursday Performance Group is free for all. It is designed as a chance for distance runners to get together for a faster track or interval workout. Workouts are created and overseen by Brooks marthoner Heather Hanscom every Thursday in Eugene, OR at 6pm. For more information see the group's webpage.

The Fast RunnerZ Eugene Marathon Training Group is designed to prepare runners of all ages, skill levels, and body types for the Eugene Full and Half Marathon. Training starts 7 months out from race day and the cost to join is $150 if joining 5-7 months out and $100 if joining 2-4 months out from race day. Coaching for the group is provided by Brooks marathoner Heather Hanscom and Nike middle distance runner Matt Scherer.
